The Shire of Exmouth is seeking an experienced and community-focused Swimming Pool Manager to lead the operations of the Paltridge Memorial Swimming Pool and nearby Children’s Spray Park.

Reporting to the Manager Economic and Lifestyle Assets, the Swimming Pool Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant and effective day-to-day operation of the swimming pool and spray park.
You will lead and develop a small team of duty managers and lifeguards, coordinate staff rosters and training, oversee water quality and plant operations, maintain regulatory compliance, manage facility maintenance and support the delivery of community programs, events and activities.
The role also manages admissions, bookings, budgets, supplies, promotions and kiosk operations. You will work closely with schools, swimming groups, community organisations and other stakeholders to ensure the facility remains safe, welcoming and responsive to community needs.
About you
You will bring experience in aquatic facility operations, team leadership and water-quality management, together with strong communication and customer service skills. You will also hold relevant pool operations and first aid qualifications and Working with Children Check.
