The Shire of Coolgardie is seeking qualified Aquatic Lifeguards for potential casual seasonal opportunities across our Coolgardie and Kambalda pools, with the 2026/2027 season commencing in October 2026.
This is a rewarding role where you'll help create a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors while working as part of a dedicated aquatic team.
What You'll Do
- Supervise aquatic areas and help ensure patron safety.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when required.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist with aquatic programs and activities.
- Identify and report hazards while promoting safe work practices.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking reliable, alert and customer-focused individuals who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements
- Current Pool Lifeguard Licence (SISSS00133)
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current C Class Driver's Licence (where applicable)
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Suitable fitness for working in an aquatic environment
Desirable
- Certificate II in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation
