The Shire of Coolgardie is seeking enthusiastic and community-minded people for potential Aquatic Lifeguard Bronze casual seasonal opportunities at our Coolgardie and Kambalda pools, commencing in October 2026.
This is an excellent entry-level role for people with a Bronze Medallion who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a supervised aquatic environment while helping keep our community safe.
What You'll Do
- Support qualified Lifeguards in maintaining a safe pool environment.
- Supervise aquatic areas and assist with patron safety.
- Respond to incidents within your training and role scope.
- Provide first aid and support aquatic rescue responses.
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist with aquatic programs and facility activities.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking reliable, confident and community-focused people who work well in a team and remain calm under pressure.
Essential Requirements
- Current Bronze Medallion
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Minimum 15 years of age
- Strong swimming ability and fitness suitable for aquatic rescue activities
