St Brigid’s College is seeking Casual Swim Instructors for our in-term swim lessons starting on the 8th of September 2025.

Duties

Teach students water safety, stroke development, and overall confidence in the water
Ensure a safe, clean, and positive learning and working environments for all swimmers and staff
Work closely with the swim coordinator to track and report student progress
Engage the students in fun and engaging lessons

Selection Criteria

A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
Current Swim Teacher qualifications
Current CPR Qualifications
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with young swimmers and their parents
A passion for teaching and inspiring confidence in the water
An understanding of the principles of Child Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Industrial Democracy and Occupational Health and Safety.
Current Working with Children Card
Current Department of Education Police check
