About the Role
This role offers: 20% shift loading on applicable shifts (early, late and weekend shifts). Double time for Public Holidays. Salary package of up to approximately $98,000 per annum (excluding superannuation), including shift loading.
The key role of this position is to assist in managing VenuesWest’s aquatic centre facilities for events, sports training and public use, to optimise venue utilisation, commercial return and customer satisfaction.
We currently have one permanent full time available.
Rostered 152hrs over a 4-week period, between the hours of 4:45am-10:00pm, Monday – Sunday.
Whilst the position will be based at Perth High Performance Centre in Mount Claremont, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities.

As an Aquatic Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing VenuesWest’s premier aquatic facilities—supporting elite sports training, high-profile events, and public recreation. Your focus will be on maximising venue utilisation, driving commercial success, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in pool or duty management, with a strong understanding of the operational demands of aquatic environments.
- The ability to maintain Pool Lifeguard qualifications and be able to rescue patrons from the pools up to depth of 5m
- Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety practices relevant to pool operations, ensuring a safe and compliant experience for all users. A passion for developing and mentoring high-performing teams in the provision of excellent customer service.

- RLSSWA Pool Operations Certificate
- RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard License
- Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or equivalent), including CPR (HLTAID009)
- Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Certificate
- LIWA Accreditation
