Royal Life Saving WA (RLSSWA) is a not-for profit organisation, serving the community as the largest provider of swimming and water safety in our state. Our purpose is empowering our community to be safe when they are in, on or around water and leading efforts to reduce the impact of drowning.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can build strong member relationships, plan engaging events/webinars, manage data and reporting with accuracy, and support community engagement and water safety education across WA.
The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining an annual professional development program for members
- Leading communication, recruitment, retention, and support strategies for members
- Overseeing and administering renewals and licensing for Swim Teachers and Trainers
- Promoting member engagement through media, website, social media, e-news, EDMs, and recognition events
- Reporting on membership participation, professional development, and key program outcomes
- Supervising the Member Engagement Officer to ensure high-quality service and support
The Member Engagement Manager will work with relevant stakeholders to lead and support the Community Trainer and Swim Teacher networks across WA.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience in program coordination, administration, or membership management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience developing and delivering professional development programs
- Confidence using digital systems (aXcelerate experience desirable)
- Ability to engage and support a member network through communication, events, and recognition
- A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Remuneration:
Royal Life Saving WA intends to offer a remuneration package;
- Salary $80,000 - $85,000 (pro rata)
- Ability to salary sacrifice (tax saving benefit)
